That’s the Salvation Army, in case you were wondering. WPEG Power 98’s No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse will host a special 28-hour radiothon to raise funds for the Salvation Army’s summer overflow shelter for women and children. It’s happening this Thursday, July 21, at 6a.m. at 534 Spratt Street in Charlotte. The show will broadcast live and the talent will sleep in vehicles on the grounds of the Salvation Army as part of their commitment to raise $10,000 for the shelter. No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse will be accepting donations online at power98fm.com as well as collecting toiletries, diapers, and gift cards. They will wrap up their fundraising effort Friday morning with the conclusion of the broadcast at 10 a.m.

Morning Maddhouse co-host Ms. Jessica the Girl Next Door said, “With temperatures hitting 100 degrees this weekend, and the shelter being home to 200 women and 200 children at any given time, we had to do something.”
