July 25 is the debut date. Weinstein will be hosting weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The goal is to deliver provocative talk on D.C. sports, led by a Silver Spring, MD, native. Weinstein (@RealBramW) returns to the nation’s capital after anchoring at ESPN since 2008, including as a SportsCenter host from 2010 to 2015. This will be Weinstein’s third stint with ESPN 980, having interned at the station during his days at American University and then working as a show host and Washington Redskins beat reporter from 1999 to 2008.

“I always knew my career would bring me back to Washington,” said Weinstein. “What I never envisioned was getting this particular opportunity. It’s a surreal honor. I can’t wait to get the show started.”

“Bringing Bram back to DC completes an incredible lineup of entertaining sports programming on ESPN 980,” said Terry Bateman, Chairman of Red Zebra Broadcasting. “Bram is guaranteed to provide listeners with a unique, compelling and entertaining approach to discussing the DC sports landscape.”

Veteran sports anchor Scott Linn (@scottlinn980) will also join Weinstein in studio for every show.
