Rising Through The Ranks Scholarships Available

The 9th Annual “Rising Through the Ranks” course dedicated to the support and advancement of women in radio sales management is open for submissions.
The RAB, BMI, and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group will present the ninth annual “Rising Through the Ranks” Seminar August 24-25 at BMI’s Nashville office. BMI is again offering 20 scholarships for the program.

Scholarships cover the cost of the professional development course, which is designed to foster and educate current and emerging female radio managers within broadcast radio. Scholarship applications and registration are available at www.rab.com and will be accepted through June 8. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their selection by Wednesday, June 29.

Scholarship winners will also have the opportunity to hear from leading radio industry executives across various station groups and industry backgrounds. Featured speakers include: Lynn Anderson, CEO, Integrated Media Solutions Group; Lindsay Cerajewski, director of partnership marketing, Emmis Communications; Joe D’Angelo, senior vice president, HD Radio; Erica Farber, president and CEO, RAB; Brandeis C. Hall, vice president, professional development, RAB; Laurie Kahn, president and CEO, Media Staffing Networks; Weezie Kramer, chief operating officer, Entercom Communications; Heather Monahan, executive vice president, CRO, Beasley Broadcasting; Beth Neuhoff, president, Neuhoff Media; Kay Olin, partner, Olin & Associates; and Dan Spears, vice president, licensing, BMI, along with additional speakers to be announced in the future.
