Entercom CEO David Field announced on the company earnings call Monday that modern rocker KBZT-FM (94.9) will begin carrying the games in 2017. Padres baseball is now heard on 1090 AM which is owned by Broadcast Company of the Americas. The deal with Entercom and the Padres runs through 2021. Entercom is big into sports. On the baseball side, the company also carries the Boston Red Sox, Kansas City Royals and Oakland Athletics.
