ESPN’s Mike & Mike Go Into NAB Hall

1

Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic, hosts of ESPN Radio’s weekday morning show Mike & Mike, were inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame Tuesday in Las Vegas.

Golic stated, “I’m stunned. When you look at the list of people in this Hall of Fame and think that my name is next to these names, I thought one of two things. We’re in a separate category not associated with these great names, or it’s a down year and they had to name somebody. I certainly don’t feel I belong with these great names.” They join a list of notable radio voices including Bob Uecker, Vin Scully, Harry Caray, and Paul Harvey, among others.

  1. It’s well deserved. I have been listening to/watching Mike and Mike since the show began. It’s how I begin my day and has been since high school. Mike Golic may not feel as though he belongs but he and Greeny have been a part of my daily life and the daily lives of millions for years. In my opinion, they have taken their rightful place next to the other legends of radio. Congrats
