After being pushed down to number two by iHeartMedia’s KISS-FM in Los Angeles in 2014, Hubbard’s all-news WTOP in Washington D.C. has recaptured the title of top billing radio station in America.

According to BIA/Kelsey, WTOP took in $65 million in 2015, $1.5 million more than 2014, and $300,000 more than KIIS-FM, which fell to number two. For KIIS-FM, a drop-off of $1.2 million, from $65.9 million in revenue in 2014 to $64.7 million in 2015, cost the station the top spot. iHeart’s WHTZ held on to the third position, but also dropped in revenue, from $51 million to $48.8 million.

Over the past five years, 2014 was the only year WTOP was not number one.
