Tuesday, Spotify announced the launch of the Music Matchmaker app, to help users in media agencies find love and friendship this Valentine’s Day. Built on Spotify’s open API, Music Matchmaker — which is available in the US, Canada and 12 European countries — asks people in media agencies which music they love or loathe, and then matches them based on their music taste with people both within their own agency and in other agencies in their country.
Spotify’s Music Matchmaker will launch with a targeted campaign on the February 8.
